This month’s bag was awesome! I have been traveling a lot this month and I have used almost every item and I have found them all to be very enjoyable. In my opinion Ipsy is the best beauty subscription out there based on the price ($10.00 per month) and the size of the products that are included. I feel that I have been able to sample a lot of products from brands that I normally wouldn’t notice at the store. I love getting this subscription! You can get yours by clicking HERE.

Good Hair Day

I got yesterday’s mess fixed today by adding lots of highlights and lowlights. I am very happy with the end result. I hardly slept last night since I was so worried about it.

Yay!

Bad Hair Day

I am so depressed. I got my hair cut and colored today and I am hating the color… The cut is cute but the color was supposed to be a little blonder than my natural color and it turned out super brassy and orange on the top of my head. I’m going to get it fixed in the morning but I’m just super bummed… I should have just stuck with my plan of getting highlights. 😦

Yuck.

June Glossybox: American Beauty

I haven’t posted in a while because I have been thoroughly enjoying my Summer vacation. I’ve been taking lots of pictures of what I’ve been up to and I’m working on posting them.

This is my last Glossybox. I’ve been subscribed for 3 months and I’m just not that into anything I’ve gotten and I think the Glossybox customer service is sub par. I am only subscribed to Ipsy and Julep Maven now and I’ve been toying around with the idea of renaming my blog because I’m just not that into getting boxes right now. I’ve been thinking that I’d rather spend my money on things that I actually want instead of surprises. I guess I have some thinking to do…

Anyway, here is what I got in my June Glossybox:

  • TARTE COMPLEXION ENHANCING LIPSTICK in Medium to Tan
  • C.BOOTH HONEY ALMOND NOURISHING DRY OIL MIST
  • OSCAR DE LA RENTA ESSENTIAL LUXURIES FRAGRANCE SAMPLES
  • SPARITUAL FAVORITES NAIL POLISH in Home Body
  • PHILIP B. PEPPERMINT AND AVOCADO VOLUMIZING AND CLARIFYING SHAMPOO

I am fairly pleased with this month’s Glossybox. The nail polish was a pleasant surprise. I really like the formula but the color is not my favorite. I might still use it from time to time if I’m going for a neutral look.

My favorite item in the box was the C. Booth Dry Oil Mist. It smells great and it is very moisturizing without being greasy. I am glad it is a big sample!

I also like the Tarte Complexion Enhancing Lipstick but I am disappointed that I got the Medium to Tan color because my skin tone is fairly light. I don’t think Glossybox pays much attention to the information you provide on your profile. This isn’t the first time I’ve had this problem with Glossybox. The color still works but it is a little darker than I would have chosen for myself.

The shampoo will be useful for the trip I’m taking next week.

I really did not like the perfume samples. I thought it was great that they sent more than one but they are way too smelly! I had them in the little bag in my bedroom and I could smell them in the living room! I put them away in a drawer in case I’m ever feeling adventurous but I don’t think I’ll be using these anytime soon. I am sensitive to smells and wearing any of the samples would probably give me a terrible headache!

Overall, I am happy with the box but I have seen enough of Glossybox for the time being. What do you think about the June Glossybox?
