I’m going on a little road trip to Northern California this week. Some fun things planned, some not so fun… I feel like I have all the time in the world now that I’m on Summer vacation so I decided … Continue reading
I am so happy that my Target Beauty Box has finally arrived! I ordered this box at the end of April and I was starting to wonder if it was ever going to come! The box cost $5.00 and I’m … Continue reading
I received this deodorant free for testing purposes in my Spring Fever Vox Box from Influenster. I have used different Secret deodorants before and I was excited to try this one because the package says that it lasts for 48 hours. While I do not go 48 hours without showering I was excited to try a long lasting deodorant.
Generally, I find that my regular deodorant does not last all day and I need to reapply it when I get home from work. With this deodorant I did not need to reapply! It really does last all day! I also liked that it did not leave white marks on my clothes!
I will definitely consider buying this again when I run out!
I had high hopes for this powder but it just did not work for me. I’ve used one other hair powder before and I have to say that I liked it much better than this one. This powder gave my hair some much needed volume/ texture but it made it feel SO dirty! I had to wash it off right away because my hair felt disgusting. I think this is a high-quality product but it just did not suit my fine, sometimes oily hair. This product will probably work great for someone with a different hair type than mine. I would like to try more products from this brand just not this one…

I received these press-on nails in my Spring Fever VoxBox from Influenster. I’ve been curious about these nails because they are supposed to last up to a week. I remember using press-on nails in middle school and they would rarely last for an entire day.
The print I received is called Space Cadet. I thought it looked really cute in the packaging but I wasn’t so sure once they were on my nails.
These nails were very easy to apply. After I sized all of my nails I laid them out in order and I began to apply the nails. I started with my pinky and applied the thumb nail last. The adhesive felt very strong and the nails had just the right amount of flexibility.
I wore these for an entire day of normal activities at home. I am not really a fan of long nails so I had to take them off. They definitely would have lasted a few more days if I could have put up with them. The removal process was very easy, just peel off! They didn’t damage my nails at all.
I’m not sure if I would ever purchase these because I have strong natural nails and I don’t like the feeling of artificial nails. I might try them again if I’m dressing up for Halloween or something…
Have you tried these nails? Any questions? Comment below!
The theme of this month’s Ipsy bag is “On the Wild Side”. I think the leopard print bag is the cutest one yet! This month there were five items in the bag and I got a bonus item for referring two friends. Overall, I am happy with this bag, there are a few things I don’t like though.
Starlooks Lip Pencil in Bare- The color is a little too brown for me but I will find a way to make it work.
J.cat Sparkling Cream Palette- Not a fan, I guess I can use this for Halloween
J.cat Eyelashes + Eyelash Glue- I HATE false lashes! Also, am I the only one that thinks it is gross that these are made out of human hair?
NYX Mosaic Powder in Silk- I love this! I was hoping for one of the Mosaic Powders and I love the color!
Chella Ivory Lace Highlighter Pencil- This is pretty decent, I like it!
Bonus Item: BaubleBar O-Ring Stud Wrap- I was a little sad that I didn’t get the Urban Decay Moondust Eyeshadow that they offered last month but this bracelet is adorable! It is much better quality than I expected!
Join me on ipsy and subscribe to the Glam Bag! You get 4-5 beauty products every month delivered to your door, for just $10. Michelle Phan curates the bags! Check it out here: http://www.ipsy.com/?refer=u-h9z3toqz4j1gqdt

I have been craving the Urban Decay Naked and Naked 2 palettes for months. I have had many opportunities to purchase them but something always makes me change my mind because $50 seems like a lot to spend for a palette and if I buy one then I am going to want both. I may have found a more reasonable alternative for the time being until I am finally ready to splurge and actually buy the UD palettes.
This is the NYX Nude on Nude Palette. It is obviously meant to be a dupe for the Naked palettes. This palette is $24.99 at Ulta and I ordered mine on Amazon for $20.00. I used my credit card points to get $10.00 off my Amazon purchase so I only spent $10.00 on this amazing palette. 🙂
The packaging is very sturdy and it seems like it would be great for travel. The colors are gorgeous and smooth. There are many matte shades and a few shimmer shades. They are very similar colors to those in the Naked palettes and overall I am very happy with this purchase. I’ve been wearing these to work for the past few days and they have great staying power when used with my Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I think this is a great dupe for the real thing. The lip glosses are an added bonus but they are not my favorite.
This palette has satisfied my craving for the Naked Palette for the time being. Maybe I’ll actually be able to wait until my birthday in September to buy the real thing…
I got an amazing sugar smooch lip scrub with my May Julep Maven collection and I have been using it very sparingly because I love it so much. When I saw this DIY: Lush Lip Scrub post on Pretty Little … Continue reading
