Broadway imPRESS Press-On Manicure

I received these press-on nails in my Spring Fever VoxBox from Influenster. I’ve been curious about these nails because they are supposed to last up to a week. I remember using press-on nails in middle school and they would rarely last for an entire day. Broadway Nails imPRESS Press-on Manicure

The print I received is called Space Cadet. I thought it looked really cute in the packaging but I wasn’t so sure once they were on my nails.

These nails were very easy to apply. After I sized all of my nails I laid them out in order and I began to apply the nails. I started with my pinky and applied the thumb nail last. The adhesive felt very strong and the nails had just the right amount of flexibility.

Press-On Manicure

I wore these for an entire day of normal activities at home. I am not really a fan of long nails so I had to take them off. They definitely would have lasted a few more days if I could have put up with them. The removal process was very easy, just peel off! They didn’t damage my nails at all.

I’m not sure if I would ever purchase these because I have strong natural nails and I don’t like the feeling of artificial nails. I might try them again if I’m dressing up for Halloween or something…

Have you tried these nails? Any questions? Comment below!

Mani Monday: Julep Annie and Jane

I used a 50% off coupon to order these from the Julep website a few weeks ago. Annie is from the Trina Turk Fall ’12 collection and it is described as an electric blue topaz crème. This polish has the best formula of all of the Julep polishes that I have used so far. It was easy to apply and I probably could have gotten away with just one coat but I ended up using two. Jane is a full-coverage rose gold multi-dimensional glitter. It was a little chunky but in my experience most glitters are. My boyfriend doesn’t like the combination of these two colors but I think it is fun and I really wanted to try both of them.

Special K Nail Mail

What’s better than nail mail? Free nail mail!!!

A couple of weeks ago I was at Target and I noticed that the Special K that I was buying said that you could get a free Nicole by OPI nail polish by using codes from specially marked boxes. For 3 codes you can get the red polish that I got and for 8 codes you can get all three of the special colors (red, pink, and blue).

This color is called Challenge Red-Y,  it is a very pretty classic red.

Mani Monday: Julep Wendy & Yumi Glitter Jelly Sandwich

I created this look by using 1 coat of Wendy, 1 coat of Yumi, followed by 1 more coat of Wendy. Wendy is described as a barely there watermelon color. Yumi is described as a pink, silver and holographic glitter.

I saw this look on the Sephora website when I ordered Wendy and I decided to try it for myself. I really like the way it turned out.
